Exactly what I needed! I have a friend, an older woman, who never really celebrated Christmas. My kids asked her if she had put up her tree yet and she replied that she didn't have one and wasn't going to get one. So my kids came up with the idea of getting her something like this. We added a couple of gifts and a filled stocking. She called me crying, saying how wonderful it was and that she felt so alone during the holidays and hadn't had a Christmas tree in 10 years. She loves this one because she can display it in her living room on a table, and then carry it to her room at night so she can see it twinkle in the dark. I love this product because it put a smile on her face and lifted her spirits.

1. The lights are supposed to have 8 settings, but they only have 4. However, they do work without overheating. You have to unplug them to turn them off.

2. There are more branches on one side than the other. I fixed it as best I could, and this was the end result. One side still has way more branches.

3. The tree topper appears to be cheap paper mache. There are two pieces of glitter(?) that don't seem to normally be on there. The bottom is covered up, so I'd have to poke a hole in the bottom to put it on the tree.

4. The paint is chipping on some of the ornaments. The example shown was the worst case of this. ONE OF THE ORNAMENTS IS BROKEN.

5. Really good stand. Very sturdy.

6. Perfect height.

All put together, I don't think this is too bad. The lights work and there are ornaments that aren't broken and don't have chipped paint. Might want to get a different tree topper. It's fine for its price, and you can't expect a tree shipped in a box to be perfect. Honestly you get what you pay for.

I like this mini tree very much. I got all parts in the box and DIY it in my way. All parts in this set are high quality, the LED light string has 50 bulbs as described that make the tree bright, this is exactly what I want. My first Christmas tree. Fit my new home very well. Love! Love it!

I ordered this product as a tree to sit on my desk in my office. I was overall happy with the tree, ornaments, and lights. However, I did need to twist-tie the star to the top of my tree because the hole for the star to attach to the top of the tree was tiny. The different options for light-flashing was also nice, but would have been even better if there was an option for lights off. At the beginning and end of every day, I would need to crawl under my desk and plug in/unplug the tree, which got annoying (especially when it seemed like adding an "off" option to the myriad light options would have been an easy fix). It's a good value for the money, but if you're going to need to plug it somewhere inconvenient, I would recommend a different tree.

I've got to say I am pleasantly surprised with this little tree. It did come with white lights and we swapped them out for a multi-color string, our choice. I love the mini glass ornaments that are in several different colors, they reflect the lights beautifully. It was fairly easy to put together and everything was packed securely. It's a little pricey for its size, but I'm still happy. (Ornaments below tree in the photo were not included)
